Seeing This Dog May Shock You At First. But Keep Looking Because What Happened Is Amazing.
Pig is very adorable. But unfortunately, there’s something very wrong.
Pig may seem like a normal dog in this picture, but what isn’t obvious here is that Pig is about half the size of a normal dog and severely deformed.
Found near the woods in Alabama, Pig was born to a feral mother. A vet who initially looked her over recommended euthanization.
But when Kim Dillenbeck heard about Pig, she had to see her. It wasn’t long before she knew Pig would come home with her to Alabama.
An X-ray revealed Pig’s health concerns. Incomplete spine, spinal cord divided into two parts at her neck, missing ribs, and joints and hips rotated in the wrong positions.
But as long as she doesn’t gain too much weight, Pig has a good chance of surviving into adulthood in her new, loving home.
Props to Ms. Dillenbeck for all she has done for Pig.
