Someone was driving along a highway in Italy at 80-mph when they suddenly felt that they hit something. Worried, they pulled over fearing the worst. It was a white stray dog who’d collided with the front of the car but in miraculous fashion…
The dog had somehow survived becoming lodged in the front grill. The driver immediately called for help, and Jimmy Dotti of Italian Veterinary Ambulance arrived on scene. And he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
The dog had to be sedated to be pulled from the car, and then he was transferred to an animal hospital with only relatively minor injuries.
Rescuers named the dog Paraflu and got his fractured front leg on the road to recovery. No one knows where the dog had come from, but he’s all smiles now as he awaits his forever home and second chance at life! 🙂
