A dog named Sadie was turned away by several shelters because of her issues with men, and she ended up at a last resort; The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge in New Jersey. The German Shepherd was uncomfortable around men and therefore unwanted, but Brian Myers wanted to give her a real chance.
And to pay him back for this life-saving second chance at life, Sadie would save his life. The man had a stroke one night by his bed and couldn’t get to his phone. So the dog pulled him all the way across the room so he could reach his cell and call for help. Brian would have to spend a couple weeks at the hospital, but when he was released, his best buddy and savior was there to welcome him back! 🙂
