Koda was on her morning walk with her mom one day when they came upon the Fearless Kitty Rescue building on their route. It’s a place the dog likes to check out and sniff around, but this time there was a cooler out front that caught her attention.
Koda reacted to the cooler in such a strong way that Mom came over to see what all the fuss was about. And a cat popped its head out and gasped for air. The poor cat had been zipped shut inside on an already hot day. The kitty was shaken up but happy to be freed, and the woman contacted a volunteer at the rescue.
The cat, now named Juliane, has since been acclimating to life at the rescue but will need a large mass on her tail removed via surgery soon. Then, a search will begin for her loving forever home. Juliane, meaning “Fearless” in Danish culture, is alive today thanks to her guardian angel, Koda the Husky! Amazing. 🙂
