The dogs on this property were found covered in fleas and had visible scarring, consistent with injuries typically seen in dogfighting cases. They were found living outside on heavy, weighted chains and did not have access to adequate shelter — only blue barrels and dilapidated wooden shacks. Despite the poor conditions the dogs were found suffering in, the Animal Rescue team noted that they wagged their tails and were eager for attention.
Charlie was rescued and rehomed just in time for his first snowfall, and it’s a beautiful moment to witness. See it in the video below! 🙂
