This is a story that’ll rip your heart out but, at the same time, show you just how incredibly loyal dogs are – even to the point of wishing for death.
Recently, in the 100 degree Oklahoma heat, a bull terrier was found refusing to move. The reason why is heartbreaking: his elderly owner passed away from natural causes, leaving him filled with sadness and grief. When animal control arrived, they said that they couldn’t even pry him away from his deceased owner.
‘The dog kept wanting to pull back to go back to where the remains of where the deceased owner was,’ Oklahoma City Animal Shelter supervisor Sheridan Lowery told KFOR.
I think there will be a new life for this loyal bull terrier. I’m sure he will never forget his human, but like the rest of us, he can move on with time and learn to love again. Share this heartbreaking story with others below.
