A dog was found tied to a railing at a train station with only a suitcase by his side. The Scottish SPCA was alerted and they were able to gather some info through the dog’s microchip. His name is Kai and the original owner said the dog was sold in 2013 and they did not know the new owner’s address. The suitcase contained a pillow, food bowl, toy and some food. Inspector Stewart Taylor had the following to say:
It is illegal in Scotland to abandon animals and anyone found guilty will be forbidden to own pets ever again. That sounds like a law that needs to be implemented everywhere! Hopefully they come up with some new information soon and Kai finds a loving forever home!
