She Finds A Dead Animal On The Road. But When She Looks Closer… OMG
Chloe Enright was driving home in Dunsborough, Australia, with her kids when she saw a dead animal on the side of the road. Seeing roadkill is a pretty common thing, but this time something told her to go back. And that’s when this amazing story all started…
Chloe Enright was driving home with the kids when she saw a dead kangaroo on the side of the road. And something told her to go back and look…
“Inside the kangaroos pouch was a baby joey,” she said on Facebook. “Her mum was still warm but she was gone.” So she gently pulled the baby out…
And they took the joey to the vet to get some much needed milk.
F.A.W.N.A., a wildlife organization that provides emergency care, gave them a heated pouch and other things the baby would need.

Thanks to Chloe and her motherly instincts, the baby kangaroo was given a fighting chance.
It would be a lot of work, but the family was ready for it. A care package from F.A.W.N.A. provided everything they’d need.
Between keeping her warm and feeding her four times a day, the joey’s health was trending in the right direction.
The kids named her Angel “because the angels brought her to us.”
Once Angel makes a full recovery, the family will work with F.A.W.N.A. to release her back into the wild.
Angel is in great hands, and we wish her the best with her recovery! And the Enright family’s message to everyone is a good one; “Please always stop and check if you ever hit a kangaroo as there could be a precious baby joey that won’t survive without care.”
