Byron had just fallen into a deep depression after a tough breakup. It was then he decided to take his own life.
He made a noose out of some rope and went to write a goodbye letter. When he returned, his dog, Geo, had the noose in his mouth.

Byron believes with all of his heart that his dog sensed what was happening and refused to let his owner go. If it wasn’t for Geo, Byron wouldn’t be alive today.
