This Pup Was Thrown Out Because Of How He Looks. But Wait Till You See This…
A story about a dog thrown out because of his imperfections is heartbreaking. He was dropped off at a high-kill shelter, but there is hope for his future. Cause For Paws is doing everything possible to make sure this little guy finds a forever home.
This pit bull puppy was left on the steps of a high-kill shelter.
He wasn’t wanted because of his looks and was separated from his mom and siblings. He was born with a half-formed right ear and a blind left eye.
But Nicole Horabik of North Carolina’s Cause for Paws saw his adoption ad online and knew she had to find him.
She immediately got the eight-week-old pit bull and brought him home. She named him Captain Morgan and made a post about his story on Facebook.
“I was thrown away because I wasn’t perfect. Share if you think I am perfect!!!”
Nicole wants people to understand that dogs may not always be perfect in your eyes, but they can still be amazing pets.
Other than Captain Morgan’s underbite and a herniated belly, he has a clean bill of health!
Captain Morgan gets along with Nicole’s other disabled dogs and has an amazing personality.
Now she hopes that he will be adopted by a family that will love him the way he is–imperfections and all!
I have no doubt this puppy will find a loving home and make an amazing pet! He certainly deserves it. 🙂
