South Korean musician Annie Ko was a translator for Humane Society International during the raiding and shutting down of yet another dog meat farm. Little did she know that she would end up adopting one of the rescue pups named DeeJay! 🙂
The Humane Society of the United States is working tirelessly to fight the dog meat trade across Asia, but change only happens when it can come from within the hearts and minds of locals like Annie. The majority of South Koreans are against the dog meat industry, and with their support and activism, the end to this inhumane trade is in sight.
