A nice woman in Mexico brought her dog into a rescue clinic along with a homeless dog she’d seen around the neighborhood. She got the stray neutered and returned him to their neighborhood.
The day after he left the clinic, he returned all by himself begging to be let back in! This determined dog decided being homeless was not for him and he rescued himself. I think this might be the first self-rescue ever. 🙂
They double-checked with the woman and confirmed he belonged to no one. Compassion Without Borders now plans to bring the stray north to help find him a forever home.
