Our dogs would do anything for us, so as their protectors and guardians, all we want to do is try to return that favor. Their unconditional love makes them the most loyal companions and “man’s best friend.” So when one man realized his dog was still inside their home that had just caught fire, he had to go through the flames to find her.
The firefighters can be heard yelling to Jose Guzman telling him to stop and not to enter the fiery house. But he couldn’t stop himself. “All I wanted was to get my dog,” he said.
While firefighters caution against untrained people running into burning homes, this story had a happy ending.
