Freya Hill’s cat, Flea, went missing, and it turned out she’d been stuck at the bottom of a 20 ft. well. But thanks to a dog who heard her little cries for help, she was returned home after 10 days away.
The neighborhood dog alerted nearby homeowners who contacted U.K.’s Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service to save the 1-year-old cat. Firefighters were able to climb down to get to the cat who’d managed to climb onto a small ledge, and they coaxed her with some cat food.
Freya said Flea is overly friendly with people and has a habit of following strangers around as an explanation as to what may have happened. The cat is currently doing well at home after her rescue, and it’s all thanks to this heroic dog and firefighters!
