But when approached, the little white pup would retreat through the gate of an industrial area. She didn’t trust humans, that was for certain. Loreta kept the dog distracted with bits of cheeseburger as Eldad readied the gentle snare…
It would take some patience, but it allowed the pup to feel safe while keeping her distance. And before she knew it, she was secure and would never have to worry about being alone on the streets again! They got her back to CARES for a bubblebath and removed tons of ticks before the exhausted girl took a much-needed nap. Then, she’d go on to be fostered by ART N’ Paws until eventually finding that loving forever home! 🙂
