A young puppy’s skin was peeled back after probably being snagged by a passing vehicle, and Animal Aid Unlimited set out for rescue. Because it covered such a huge area on her shoulders, the pain must have been excruciating, and infection would be a grave danger.
Rescuers hurried her to their hospital and were relieved that the surgeon saw that there was enough skin to be able to surgically repair the wound. The shy young girl emerged from her ordeal needing extra snuggles while her massive laceration transformed to a tiny scar. Wait until you see Jewel today! 🙂
