An Orphaned Wombat Is Cared For At Australian Reptile Park
Kenny was in his mother’s pouch when she was struck by a car and killed. Thankfully, the accident was witnessed by a couple that found Kenny in the pouch and rushed him to the nearest place for help. The Australian Reptile Park took Kenny in and gave him the care he needed for a second chance at life.
Kenny the orphaned baby wombat arrives at the sanctuary.
The care he received from his new family was amazing.
And Kenny started to grow…
At seven months old, Kenny would fit perfectly in a dresser drawer to catch some sleep.

As a wombat, it’s natural for Kenny to want to cuddle up in a small place to feel secure.
The day will come when Kenny can be returned to the wild to be with his kind.
But for now, he’s receiving all kinds of attention and love. 🙂
Thanks to everyone that gave Kenny a second chance at life.
What a rough beginning for this adorable wombat, but everything appears as if it’ll be just fine. 🙂
