Animal Aid Unlimited received a call from some villagers about a dog who was injured and suffering. They tied him to a tree to make sure he wouldn’t get away. Rescuers found that the dog was very sweet and friendly despite a badly wounded ear filled with maggots.
They got him back to the hospital and began treatment right away. The rescuers applied medicated powder to kill the maggots and then proceeded to sedate the dog to start the wound debridement. The pup was cleaned up, and they dressed the wounded ear.
It would take a month of love and care to heal this wound, and in the meantime he’d win over everyone’s hearts. The dog’s strong spirit and will to survive helped him pull through, and just wait until you see Kisses today! 🙂
