Lentil was born with a cleft palate and was the only surviving member of the litter. But he required lots of special care in order to stay alive. He couldn’t eat or drink on his own and needed to be bottle-fed every couple of hours. But surgery allowed Lentil to start eating on his own. They started a movement for Lentil to meet children with craniofacial differences to show them that it was okay to be different. A puppy that barely survived is now changing lives.
