A 42-year-old woman believed to be walking her dog in Jacksonville, Florida was struck by a hit-and-run driver. She was found dead in the road.
After the accident, the victim’s dog was seen lying in the street where his owner had passed.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a semi-truck hit the woman, identified as Kelly Black, in a convenience store parking lot before dragging her out into the street. They say the driver may not even be aware that he hit the woman.
