Max the street dog was rescued from a life of neglect. He was riddled with mange and as skinny as could be. He was taken in by Sidewalk Specials but had to be separated from the other dogs because of his contagious mange condition.
The dog cried and howled all day every day in his kennel. All he wanted was love although he’d never experienced it in his life. And when a kind lady stepped up to adopt Max, it was love at first tickle! 🙂
Max and the cats had to learn to get along in an adjustment period, but now the dog is so happy and healthy sleeping with a smile on his face every night! It’s so great to see.
