Zach came across an old dog in the shelter who was surrendered because he had cancer. He couldn’t just let the senior boy die in there alone, so he decided to take him home. He thought he might give the 16-year-old dog a happy final few days or weeks, but he got more than he bargained for from Henry! 🙂
The dog seemed to be at the end, but the very next morning he had a new pep in his step! They then scheduled to get the cancer removed, and Henry started running and galloping around the yard every day. Months later, the boy was doing better than ever and adoption applications were rolling in. It was time for that next chapter, and he’d be surrounded by love for the rest of his life!
