Neighbors spotted a dog lying by a rod at a construction site. When they got closer, they saw that the rod had pierced through her thigh and impaled her. She couldn’t get free no matter how much she tried. So they called Animal Aid Unlimited to the rescue, and they quickly arranged for workers to show up with an electric metal saw.
Rescuers covered the dog to protect her from the sounds of the saw against the metal and to comfort her as much as possible. Fortunately, no bones were broken but it was still a serious wound that needed cleaned, bandaged, and antibiotics. And after a month of care and love, you’ll want to see Shylee now! 🙂
