Sidewalk Specials was on a vaccine drive when they came across a little pup named Toby. His owners complained that he was too skinny and that he would run away if not tethered to his rope. So they kept the 6-month-old dog tied to a breeze block year-round out in the elements…
Toby had been on the rope for so long that it was starting to embed in his neck leaving a wound. The rescuers advised his owners that they’d be checking to ensure no other dogs ended up on that rope! They took the puppy in where he could transition to a brand new chapter in life. 🙂
