This story takes us back a couple years ago to when a man in southern Los Angeles found a doghouse in the left lane of traffic that was nailed shut with a board over the opening. He contacted the police, and they pried the board from the doghouse. There was a wounded dog inside which prompted them to call Ghetto Rescue Ffoundation.
The dog had been locked up for three days with wounds that had been untreated.
The dog was very scared after everything he had gone through. They had to use force to remove the dog from the box.
They cleaned him up, took him into their care, and named him Walter Worthy Higgins. And he started looking better right away! 🙂
We’re so happy Walter Worthy Higgins was found when he was and placed in a foster home to get used to being social and learn to trust humans again before eventually going on to find a forever home. Walter is finally living the life he’s always deserved.
Gotta love happy endings! 🙂
