An injured pit bull was brought to the shelter by some good Samaritans. They think she was hit by a car, because her back leg was in bad shape. They couldn’t afford the surgery to amputate, so the dog was placed on the euthanasia list. But that’s when the Lance McCullers Foundation stepped in to donate the money to get it done!
Nala went to a foster home where she stayed for about a month before her future mom found her and had to have her! The woman put a hold on her right away but had to wait for the dog to be transported up to Colorado. When Mom finally walked through the door to see her pit bull in the flesh, she burst into tears. This was just the beginning of their story–wait until you see their lives together now! 🙂
