A terrified Labrador named Cricket would spend all of her time hiding away in her kennel at her foster home. She did this for months, and her fosters couldn’t help but wonder what in her past had made her this way. As much as they tried, they couldn’t get through to the dog. But then one day, they discovered what made her tick in life.
When her foster siblings starting coming around, Cricket started breaking out of her shell little by little. Her confidence grew over the next year, and it became very clear that she wasn’t a human’s dog, she was a dog’s dog! They worried about finding her the perfect forever home, but I think they hit it out of the park… 🙂
